AR I had to laugh when you said your house had been full of noisy teenagers with muddy shoes. I always thought we had a fairly big house until the boys started having their HUGE footed friends over. Then as time went on it wasn’t just their feet that seemed everywhere; it was like walking with Ents.
I am getting used to it now.

I find hospitality difficult at times too, but in the end I think it will be part of my salvation.

I just can’t believe you are thinking that you are not practising hospitality enough…! Actually I think I would not even be blogging anymore, if you hadn’t so warmly welcomed me in blogger world.
And if your ‘real life you’ is only half as openhearted I think people know they are welcomed by you. And I don’t think this can be measured in visitor count by week in your house
I guess this is also a fact of having the strenght to have (or not have) people over all the time (I don’t have this very often just because of that).

Hospitality is in the heart mainly and this is where I found it with you!(((hugs)))

Great thought about hospitality, if I’m spelling that correct without my “apellcheck.” Praise the Lord that being and having friends is not based on how social we are but what we are inside. Thanks for sharing.

I know hospitality seems to come naturally for some people and even at some stages of life. It’s easier to have people over when you have kids around. Sometimes we have to step outside of our comfort zones to be hospitable. You seem like a very warm and welcoming person though and that’s what it’s all about!
