Prayer of Trust to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
In all my temptations, I place my trust in You,
O Sacred Heart of Jesus.
In all my weaknesses, I place my trust in You,
O Sacred Heart of Jesus.
In all my difficulties, I place my trust in You,
O Sacred Heart of Jesus.
In all my trials, I place my trust in You,
O Sacred Heart of Jesus.
In all my sorrows, I place my trust in You,
O Sacred Heart of Jesus.
In all my work, I place my trust in You,
O Sacred Heart of Jesus.
In every failure, I place my trust in You,
O Sacred Heart of Jesus.
In every discouragement, I place my trust in You,
O Sacred Heart of Jesus.
In life and in death, I place my trust in You,

In time and in eternity, I place my trust in You,

Act of Love to the Sacred Heart
Reveal Thy Sacred Heart to me, O Jesus, and show me Its attractions.
Unite me to It for ever.
Grant that all my aspirations and all the beats of my heart,
which cease not even while I sleep,
may be a testimonial to Thee of my love for Thee and may say to Thee:
Yes, Lord, I am all Thine; the pledge of my allegiance to Thee
rests ever in my heart and will never cease to be there.
Do Thou accept the slight amount of good that I do
and be graciously pleased to repair all my wrongdoing;
so that I may be able to bless Thee in time and in eternity…Amen

Isn’t this such a beautiful prayer? It just meets all of our needs, God is so incredibly good to us!

I try, marcy ~ but don’t aways succeed!
I must admit, I do love “loveliness”…beautiful flowers, pictures, candles etc. and I do strive to make my home a haven of peace. As to whether or not I succeed? Ask my husband and children!

I wish I could get it right for once. I have been a convert for over 8 years and I still seem to confess the same sins over and over. I am so weak and it’s not that I don’t try but it’s so hard. Sometimes I pray the Rosary every day then bam! I miss one day and I go months. I wish I could be Holy and full of joy but I think I am my own worst enemy. I think I get jealous at times when I see people who love God and are full of Joy. I am jealous that they are so happy and happy with themselves. I loath myself at times so I guess my jealousy is to be expected. Oh well all I can do is try and try. One day maybe I will finally get it right

Dear Maxine, I will pray for you!
I remember a lovely Franciscan Friar once saying to me after I had made my confession, that sometimes God allows us to fall and stumble so that we are ever reminded of our need for Him, and to increase humility in us, so that we do not grow proud. I hope you can take heart for these words, and I will pray a decade of the Rosary for you today. I pray that you will receive from God the gift of joy and peace in your life.
